Composite panels consisting of polyurethane insulating materials bonded to plasterboard were assessed through large-scale tests (Room Corner Tests) in comparison to products consisting of fire-proof mineral wool bonded to plasterboard.

The tests highlighted similar behaviour: flash-over was not reached and both samples were assigned class B (see video by ANPE [National Association of Rigid Polyurethane Foam]).
