Technical Specifications

  • Positioning of the edge stop beam
  • Lay down STIFERITE’s Isoventilato panel with laths parallel to the gutter.
  • Install panels using self-threading screws directly into the lath incorporated in the panel.
  • Seal the joining sections of the panels with waterproofing self-adhesive tape as protection against eventual formation of condensation.
  • Lay down and install ventilation wood laths and multi-layer wood support (plywood, OSB) using nails or self-threading screws directly to the lath incorporated in the panel.
  • Lay down bitumen tiles and ventilation elements (bird protector grill, ventilated ridge)

Instructions and Guidelines
When the pitch is less than 20-25%  use a bituminous membrane on top of the multi-layer wood support

The ventilation laths must be minimum 5cm in height and the distance between them at least 50/60 cm.
