Indications
Laying the mantle dry makes it independent of structural movements and allows fast and economic execution.
The ballast stabilises the mantle, protecting it from the
rays of the sun and from ageing, it reduces the working temperature and mitigates extremes of heat.
Regular maintenance work must be contemplated,
bearing in mind that any separating layer may facilitate
the growth of plants.
The characteristics of the complementary materials are highlighted only to indicate a good level quality standard.

Waterproof mantle composed of two bituminous membranes with polyester fibre reinforcement, no less than 4 mm thick and weighing no more than 4 kg/m² each.
The first membrane will be laid dry, sealing the overlaps, then the second membrane will be glued on, vulcanising it with a hot torch. Possible separating layer of non-woven felt, not illustrated. Uniform distribution of gravel, diameter 15/25, thickness 4-5 cm, weight 60-75 kg/m²
