Indications Terraced roofs allow the increase, or the recovery, of valuable “liveable” spaces, but they must also ensure the comfort and safety of the rooms below.
The need to guarantee a sure seal of the mantle, also because of the impossibility of carrying out maintenance once the work is finished, requires great attention in the design and in the perfect realisation of the “packet”.
In this application it is also possible to use Stiferite Class S panels, following the indications given on the respective product sheet.
The characteristics of the complementary materials are highlighted only to indicate a good level quality standard.

Waterproof mantle composed of two bituminous membranes with polyester fibre reinforcement, no less than 4 mm thick and weighing no more than 4 kg/m2 each.
The first membrane will be laid dry, sealing the overlaps, then the second membrane will be glued on, vulcanising it with a hot torch.
Separating layer consisting of non-woven polyester fibre felt with weight 500 gr/m2.
Anti-soaking layer consisting of a sheet of paraffin paper or similar. Casting the screed and laying the paving.
