Indications
The need to guarantee a sure seal of the mantle, also because of the impossibility of carrying out maintenance once the
work is finished, requires great attention in the design and in the perfect realisation of the “packet”.
Pay particular attention when carrying out raised edging and the connections between the screed and the structure.
Use only specific materials, of high quality, and check the products and systems with specialised appliers.
The reinforcement of the screed must be calculated in relation to the bearing capacity, under constant load, of the insulating panel.
The characteristics of the complementary materials are highlighted only to indicated a good level quality standard.

With a hot torch, laying the waterproofing mantle composed of two bituminous membranes with polyester fibre reinforcement.
First membrane 4 mm thick and weighing 4 kg/m2; second membrane 5 mm thick, weight 5 kg/m2 and reinforcement not less than 300 gr/m2.
Separating layer consisting of non-woven polyester fibre felt with weight 500 gr/m2.
Anti-soaking layer, reinforced screed and paving in bituminous conglomerate.
